The objective of the computer adaptive assessment (CAA) project is to assist school jurisdictions in exploring the benefits of CAA in support of enhanced classroom assessment by conducting a pilot CAA. If, in the sole opinion of Alberta Education, the project is successful, the contractual arrangement with the vendor may be extended beyond the initial three-year pilot term to provide the services to all schools in Alberta.
