Castle Rock Research Corporation has been selected as the lead vendor in building a CAA system for Alberta. Castle Rock Research expects to collaborate with Alberta Education, school jurisdictions, and local teachers in developing a computer adaptive assessment program that will conform to the highest standards of quality, security, efficiency, accuracy, and ease of implementation.

Castle Rock Research Corp, an educational resource development company based in Edmonton, Alberta, provides quality, curriculum-based educational resources to students, parents and educators. Over the past ten years, these resources have helped to support scholastic performance by focusing on instruction, assessment, diagnostics, and remediation. Through exclusive agreements with Alberta Education and the Ministry of Education in British Columbia, Castle Rock Research is permitted to republish test questions from previously administered standards-based government examinations. Castle Rock Research also develops thousands of items for subjects that do not feature standardized tests. Castle Rock Research uses these questions to produce subject-specific student study guides called THE KEY. Castle Rock Research also publishes a line of student workbooks called Student Notes and Problems (SNAP) guides. The quality, effectiveness, and curriculum fit of the resources produced by Castle Rock Research continue to spur the growth of the company and reflect the strength of company’s core products.
